BUS 553 - Business Aspects in Cyber Law Students will examine the ethical and legal issues that impact cybersecurity professionals, business, and society. The course will consider the evolving legal issues relating to governance of cyberspace and the internet, and the roles of government and the law in regulating the digital world. Specific topics will include intellectual property, civil litigation, criminal prosecution, privacy laws, and federal and international laws aimed at cybersecurity and digital contracts. Ethical frameworks that guide the creation and application of the risks and protections in education, the workplace, commerce, and individual rights will also be considered.
