POL 425 - Directed Study
This is a student-initiated and -planned exploration of an advanced topic in an area of special interest not otherwise available for study. Permission of the department faculty advisor is required. It consists of formal, supervised study of an academic subject with a qualified Rivier instructor and must be accompanied by a syllabus stating the educational goals of the project or course of study as developed and agreed upon in advance by the student, department faculty advisor, and instructor.
