MA 320 - Classical Geometries This course is a survey of geometry as a form of axiomatic reasoning; sets of axioms; theorems and the nature of proof; Euclidean and non-Euclidean models; the hyperbolic parallel postulate; transformational geometry; and analytic geometry. In addition, dynamic geometry software will guide some exploration of models and development of conjectures. This course may be writing assisted.
