BUS 180 - Business Communications This course is an introduction to the principles of effective research, writing, and presentation skills utilizing a business model. The course is designed to prepare students to create analytical reports, resume portfolios (including cover letters and resumes), and essential business correspondence. A philosophical foundation (based on Aristotle’s principles of rhetoric), for communication is established through a range of readings and exercises. Emphasis is placed on the use of electronic tools for research, creation, and presentation of business documents. This course is web-enhanced.
