PSYC 414 - Clinical Counseling Theories This course provides students with extensive knowledge of psychological theory. Students will gain an understanding of the various schools of thought of theory that have developed over time. A link between basic skills, theory, and techniques will be stressed. Psychodynamic, Existential, Humanistic, Cognitive, Cognitive Behavioral, and Family Systems theories are discussed. This course is cross listed with CNSL 614 Clinical Counseling Theories .
Prerequisites & Notes Open to students in their Senior year with special permission from the department of Psychology coordinator.
