EDUC 568 - Teaching Mathematics (PreK-3) Students explore research-based content, methods, strategies, and assessments for understanding and teaching mathematics to all children from birth to Grade 3. They design, evaluate, and implement mathematics curriculum based on the NCTM standards and the New Hampshire grade level expectations. The course supports the understanding of the process strands and concept development in prenumber development, number and operations, geometry and measurement, functions, patterns, and algebra, and date, statistics and probability.
Prerequisites & Notes Twenty-five field experience hours are required.
