CNSL 539 - Information Processing and Cognition The cognitive, neurological, and behavioral aspects of learning are examined. Knowledge of the brain, cognition, and information processing is the basis for the development of teaching practices, strategies, and approaches that enhance learning. The ways in which forms of cognition and processing of information becomes the basis for a curriculum for all children is highlighted as the key to differentiated instruction. 25 hours of field experience required.
