NURS 205 - Care of the Child Nursing 205 focuses on the unique experiences of children and their families as they cope with issues of health and illness in a variety of situations. The course is based on a philosophy of child care that respects children as individuals and yet views them as part of families and the world. Nursing 205 follows the child and family from the neonatal period through adolescence. The nursing process provides the means through which students learn to collect, organize, and analyze information as they work to develop therapeutic relationships with children and their families. (Two credit theory: one credit clinical) (ASN and BSN course).
