NURS 202 - Care of the Childbearing Family Nursing 202 provides the evidence-based knowledge necessary to meet the comprehensive and continuing health care needs of the childbearing family. A holistic and mutually agreeable approach to the plan of care is emphasized, believing that pregnancy and childbirth are normal life processes. The student will apply the nursing process, develop competence, think critically, and remain sensitive to the various changes experienced by the family during the childbearing cycle. (Two credit theory: two credit clinical) (ASN and BSN course).
