MATH 330 - Mathematical Statistics This is a study of descriptive and inferential statistics that includes the theory of probability; continuous random variables and their density functions; moments of distributions; binomial, Poisson, normal, gamma, beta, and exponential distributions; statistical inference by empirical methods; least-squares regression and correlation; chi-square and goodness of fit; and analysis of variance.
