CRIM 326 - Juvenile Justice This course explores the nature and causes of juvenile crime (“juvenile delinquency”) and how society responds to, and seeks to prevent, such crime. Subjects covered include defining and measuring delinquency, individual risk factors and environmental influences associated with delinquency; theories regarding the causes of juvenile delinquency; and the juvenile court and correctional systems, including how they compare to the criminal court and correctional systems.
