CS 120 - Introduction to Computing and Information Literacy This course is an introduction to computing and information literacy. Students will learn the knowledge and skills required to perform functions common to all Windows applications (including word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation programs), the fundamental concepts of networking and information technologies (network architecture, computer security, e-mail, the Internet, library research databases and the Blackboard). They will become familiar with input and output devices, the file structure of an operating system, and with storing and retrieving information from resources on the Internet.
