HLS 101 - US Homeland Security This course provides a general overview of the development and evolution of US homeland security. Key programs, policies, actors, and threats are examined from an all-hazards perspective. Roles and responsibilities of federal, state, and local governments, agencies, industry, and non-profit sector organizations are analyzed to understand how each contributes to the security of the US.
