ED 625 - Testing and Assessment This course acquaints students with a variety of assessment tools concerned with social, cognitive, emotional, and behavioral realms. Appraisal methods, including environmental assessments, performance assessments, behavioral observations, and individual and group inventory methods, are explored. Basic interviewing and assessment skills are explored, along with such factors as age, gender, ethnicity, disability, and culture as related to the assessment process. Assessing lethality is given special attention. This is a introductory course in the PsyD program.
