HLS 250 - Geographic Information Systems

This course provides a practical, hands-on approach to spatial database design and spatial data analysis with Geographical Information Systems (GIS), and its utility in numerous professional disciplines. Students will apply geospatial analysis to enhance situational awareness, disseminate information, protect infrastructure and help communities recover from destructive and devastating events.
