BUS 510 - Accounting For Managers
This foundation course introduces students tothe basic elements of accounting, including the preparation and analysis of financial statements and the uses of accounting information for reporting financial data. It incorporates the use of spreadsheet and/or accounting software. Students learn how to analyse financial statements as well as evaluate themfor use in the decision making process. Relevancy to financial planning and analysis, forecasting and strategic planning will be emphasized.
