MA 126 - Puzzles, Patterns and Probabilities


This course is designed to help students develop mathematical thinking skills as they learn about some of the great theories and interesting applications of mathematics. Students explore, question, explain, and define mathematical ideas. Discoveries that have shaped mathematical thinking are discussed along with several unresolved questions in the field. Number theory, infinity, geometry, and probability are explored.
