ED 624 - Psychopathology This course introduces students to the concepts of assessment, diagnosis and treatment of DSM disorders in children, adolescents and adults. A case study approach is used in order to help students become familiar with the presenting problems that clients encounter in both school and clinical settings. The link between etiology, treatment planning and intervention based on theory is emphasized. School based strategies as well as clinical strategies are considered. This is a introductory course in the PsyD program.
