Bachelor of Science in Finance (Day)

The finance program prepares students for opportunities in a variety of venues including banking, insurance, corporate finance, investment management, risk management, and other areas of fiduciary responsibility. The finance profession offers a wide range of career opportunities and is one of the fastest growing fields of employment in the US economy. Students will gain skills in business fundamentals as well as knowledge in the general finance field. An internship experience will offer real-world training that complements the scholarly work of the business core. A Finance Advisory Committee comprised of leading employers in the field provides advisory services and internship opportunities for the finance program. |
General Education Requirements (minimum 42 credits)
One credit in service learning may apply toward the core degree requirements as well as the following courses: Major Requirements (52 credits)
Business Core (33 credits)
Related Finance Courses (19 credits)
Exploration Area Electives (9 credits)
Select three courses. No more than one course from any one of the following four areas:
- Humanities
- Natural/Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Technology
- Social Sciences
- Professional Studies
Degree Requirements (minimum 121-122 credits)
