BUS 342 - Sports and Entertainment Marketing


The world of sports and entertainment, at several levels, is not immune to market forces that dictate the application of sound marketing practices.  Students will study successful and unsuccessful marketing efforts of actual entities ranging from sports to music to television to cinema.  Students will be required to interpret the effectiveness of several sports and entertainment marketing programs via field study exercises.  Students will also complete detailed marketing projects for an athletic team or entertainment franchise of their choice.
